Coaching FAQ & Testimonials

Crystal is an amazing lady full of knowledge and wisdom and fully understood where I was coming from. She made coaching a time for me to recognize how and why I acted out in addiction. I would recommend Crystal to coach others as I learned so much from her.

Crystal was not only a great listener–someone who didn’t judge anything about me. She asked me to set my own goals, and her approach focused on helping me see what my emotional/behavioral patterns were, and then, together we came up with specific strategies to meet those goals. She really believed in me, and trusted that I could be the person that Christ wanted me to be. She is a person of integrity, encouragement, and someone who is able to see the best in people.

Is Coaching Right for Me?

Coaching is not a replacement for professional counseling nor do I claim to be counselor. If you feel you are in need of counseling, please contact me and I may be able to refer you to one in your area. You can complete my pre-coaching assessment to see if coaching is right for you.

Who Do I Coach?

See the coaching services page for more information about my coaching services, who I can coach, the fee structure, and more. I offer a variety of coaching services including life, professional, faith, recovery, and ministry.

What is Expected of Me?

As a coach, I am your biggest fan and am only here to help you achieve your goals. However, you only get as much out of coaching as you put into it. So all that is really expected of you is your commitment and follow-through. Being an active participant in the process is all I can ask of you.

What Are My Credentials, You Ask?

I hold a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology (emphasis in addiction and recovery) from Liberty University and am currently earning my Master of Arts in Life Coaching. I also hold certifications in Professional Life Coaching, Leadership Life Coaching, Treating Sexual Addictions, Caring for People God’s Way, and Extraordinary Women through Light University, and am a member in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors.

I have experienced freedom from my own 8-year pornography and sexual addiction and have been helping women walk through addiction recovery for over 9 years. I have been involved in full-time ministry since 2004. I have also known crippling depression, anxiety, and food issues, and know how all of these can keep you from achieving your goals.

Still Not Sure? Give Me 15 Minutes.

Coaching is a big commitment and it understandable to be hesitant. If that is you, I offer a coaching consultation. This 15-minute consultation will give you the chance to get to know me, discuss your goals, answer any questions, and see for yourself if coaching is right for you. The consultation may be conducted in person (Kansas City area), over the phone or on Zoom. You may also want to complete the pre-coaching assessment to see if coaching is right for you.
